The short answer is no.  There was a lot of talk a while back about the Government extending the Right to Buy to Housing Association tenants.  The last up-date was that it wouldn’t start until after April 2018.  The government are still piloting various versions of the scheme and a final decision on the scheme and when it will be available still hasn’t been taken.  At the moment, tenants of SHAL cannot buy their home under the Right to Buy scheme but some properties may be eligible for the Right to Acquire.

The schemes are very different and any discount you may be entitled to is capped at £10,000 off the value of your home (a lot less than the maximum Right to Buy discount of £80,900).
