Chairman retires after 12 years with SHAL

SHAL Housing Limited, based in Bridgwater held its AGM on Friday. Lynda Laird who has been Chairman of the housing association for the past 3 years and with SHAL for 12 years, retired.

Lynda said “I am quite amazed that 12 years have passed since I first joined SHAL. I have been very impressed with the work SHAL has done and the amount of building and upgrading of existing stock has been quite phenomenal for a small company. I would like to praise SHAL’s staff for their constant enthusiasm for work. I feel that it is very important that SHAL is local to its tenants and I hope that SHAL continues to go from strength to strength providing good quality housing to those in need”.

SHAL presented Lynda with a Memory Book and a bouquet of flowers and congratulated her for all the work she has done on their behalf.
