Christmas Competition Winners Photo shows Carol and Dave Smith with their prize hamper

Mr and Mrs Smith from Bridgwater were the proud winners of a Christmas Hamper from SHAL Housing. Mrs Smith said “SHAL’s Newsletter was on the table so I thought I might as well have a go at the Wordsearch Competition. I was so surprised when I got a phone call from SHAL to say that I had won. We have never won anything before so this was a lovely surprise. The call came the same day that we had received some bad news about Mr Smith’s health so it gave us something else to think about.”

Sue Horrobin from SHAL said “I really enjoy ringing people to tell them they have won a prize it’s a lovely part of my job but I was sorry to hear of Mr Smith’s bad health and hope that this prize goes someway to help them enjoy their Christmas.”
