Membership

SHAL is a voluntary body with charitable objects. No-one owns SHAL and it relies on local people to give their time and energy to make things happen. SHAL has a paid staff but local people control its direction.

Membership is available to any adult member of the community who is not bankrupt and is subject to approval by our Board. Membership costs £1.

And the benefits? Newsletters about SHAL's work, an invitation to our annual seminar and an opportunity to hold our Board to account at the AGM! This will lead to the opportunity to really show your mettle and stand for election to the Board!
